DME

As the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) ensures that all medical colleges, hospitals, nurse schools, and nursing colleges are functioning efficiently. In analysing the factors responsible for this, it becomes clear that the standard of medical education delivery systems in the State plays a major role.

The Department of Medical Education performs a pivotal function in creating scientific and para-medical personnel to cater to the fitness wishes of the State. The DME examination is a mandatory annual visit for all registered nurses who began employment with the Department of Public Health or other health agency or system within one year of the date of this exam.

DME Examination is a documented in-person visits to your doctor’s office. These visits are generally performed every 3 months and provide your doctor with the ideal opportunity to review your medical history, test results, and make recommendations for your care. DME Exams are most commonly performed by specialists or special interest surgeons who specialize in certain types of health conditions.
