MOH

The UAE MOH Exam is a medical licensing examination administered by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health. It is required for physicians seeking to obtain a license to practice medicine in the UAE.  

A medical license and practice in Dubai are required for professionals who wish to acquire their professional license through the MOH assessment. Depending on the category and professional specialty of the candidate, the assessment may be conducted orally or online (Prometric). Using this service, healthcare professionals can apply for MOH licenses to work in Dubai healthcare facilities.

The examination is conducted at the time of the application for professional registration. The MOH also sets standards for the training and education of health care professionals, and licenses and accredits health care facilities. The MOH has a requirement for medical officer to have a valid license for practicing medicine. The license is issued for a period of 5 years and can be renewed.

The purpose of the MOH examination is to assess the suitability and competence of registered nurses in order to enable them to practice in hospitals and other health care facilities. It is a nationally recognized nursing competency examination that tests the knowledge and skills required to assess the health of a patient and plan for care.
